Day 2: Arusha to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
After an early breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti. This region is famous for its proximity to the Mara River and the dramatic wildebeest migration crossings. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin your first game drive immediately, making the most of the afternoon to explore the surrounding wilderness. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and a relaxed evening under the stars.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive – Kogatende
Spend the entire day tracking the Great Migration and searching for the iconic Mara River crossings. Your guide will help you position strategically for the best chances to witness herds navigating the crocodile-filled waters. In between game drives, return to camp for meals and relaxation. The Kogatende area also teems with predators, offering excellent sightings of lions, leopards, and hyenas on the hunt.

Day 4: Kogatende to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, begin your scenic overland journey to the Central Serengeti, traversing a landscape that transitions from wooded hills to open savannah. This area, often called the “heart of the Serengeti,” is known for its high concentrations of wildlife year-round. Day 5: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, with chances to spot large prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. Then depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands, traveling through the picturesque Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim or nestled in the surrounding highlands. The cooler temperatures and lush scenery offer a refreshing change.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, hippos, buffalo, lions, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a scenic spot before continuing your exploration. Return to your lodge in the afternoon for dinner and reflection on the day’s experiences.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha
On your final safari day, head southeast to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive through this less-crowded park, a hidden gem with rich biodiversity. In the late afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
