5-Day Calving Season safari (December - March)

This itinerary is built around the Great Migration’s calving season, when more than half a million wildebeest give birth across the southern Serengeti and Ndutu plains. Day 1: Arrival – Tarangire National Park

Arrive in Arusha in the morning, where your safari guide will meet you. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobabs and abundant elephant herds. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, buffalo, giraffes, and more across the scenic savannah and river systems.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti Central (Seronera)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha

Depart early for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations. Spot the Big Five including the elusive black rhino, in the lush crater floor. After lunch, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Optional drop-off at Kilimanjaro Airport or a hotel in Arusha.
