Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), our safari representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Fly to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Kogatende area in the Northern Serengeti. You’ll be met by your safari guide upon landing and immediately begin a game drive, tracking the wildebeest migration and searching for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Overnight at a lodge or mobile camp near the Mara River.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive – Northern Serengeti
Spend the day in the wild Northern Serengeti, renowned for dramatic river crossings and wide-open plains filled with wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and return to camp for sundowners and dinner.
Day 4: Drive to Central Serengeti
Depart after breakfast and enjoy a scenic drive toward the Central Serengeti, known for resident wildlife and big cat territories. En route, enjoy game viewing and picnic lunch in the bush. Settle in at your camp or lodge in the Seronera area, famous for lion prides and leopard sightings.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Begin with a morning game drive, then head southeast into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ascend to the highlands with panoramic views of the crater floor and surrounding forested escarpments. Arrive at your lodge nestled in the highlands for a cozy evening.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha or Airport
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early morning for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife, including black rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha by road or catching your departure flight.
